Since 2002, Wolfe Recital Hall at Del Mar College East has been home to the Corpus Christi Chamber Music Society’s season concerts. The recital hall was remodeled from 2013 to 2015 and can accommodate approximately 250 people. The size of the hall is the perfect, intimate setting for Chamber Music performances. The audience can easily view the interaction between the artists and appreciate their beautiful instruments and playing styles. Comfortable new seats have been installed so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the outstanding acoustics. The recital hall is linked through both sound and sight to Studio A, a state-of–the–art recording studio located in the new portion of the music building. All Corpus Christi Chamber Music Society performances are recorded. One previous concert was selected to be aired on NPR’s Performance Today. The hall also has a large Green Room that provides dressing rooms and eating areas for the performers.

In addition, the reception hall, adjacent to the recital hall, received a facelift with new artwork and a modern, open area that looks out onto a garden. During the CCCMS’s concert intermissions, light refreshments are served in this inviting space where friends, acquaintances, and music lovers of all ages can visit.

Access to Wolfe Recital Hall and the reception hall is ADA compliant, wheel chair accessible. There is always ample free parking. Dress code is informal, business casual so you can feel relaxed during the concert. Enjoy an evening of classical music played by some of the world’s most talented ensembles at the CCCMS’s season concerts at the Wolfe Recital Hall.
